C2 English Practice
C2 English Grammar Mastery
At C2, the goal is not a new list of tenses. It is flexible, precise and context-appropriate control of complex grammar, register, reformulation, cohesion and stance.
British English usage: this pathway uses standard British English as the default teaching model.
Cambridge Grammar reference: advanced grammar is treated functionally, with attention to natural spoken/written use, register, stance and information management.
CEFR C2 principle: C2 is defined by consistent grammatical control of complex language, flexibility, precision and the ability to reformulate to convey fine shades of meaning.
Level note: The structures below are not claimed to be exclusive to C2. They are used here as mastery domains through which C2-level control can be assessed.
Source note: HiLernity is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the British Council, Cambridge University Press & Assessment, or the Council of Europe.
